Privacy Policy

EligibilityGuide is an advertising and lead-generation service that helps people see what benefits they may qualify for and, with their consent, connects them with help pursuing a claim.EligibilityGuide is a private company, not a government agency. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, or any other government agency. This policy says what we collect, what we do with it, and the choices you have — in plain language, because that's how we try to do everything.

What we collect

  • What you type into our form: your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, and your answers to the screening questions — which can include information about your health, injury, disability, work situation, or veteran status.
  • Consent records: when you submit the form, we record the date and time, your IP address, your browser's identifying string, the page you were on, and the exact version of the consent language you agreed to. We keep this as proof of your consent.
  • Technical logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to run and protect the site. We also derive your U.S. state from your ZIP code.
  • Usage analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, and how far people get in the form. It sets analytics cookies and collects device and usage information. We configure it with all advertising features turned off, we never send it your name, contact details, or your answers to the screening questions, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals by disabling analytics storage when the signal is present.

What we don't collect: no advertising pixels and no cross-site ad tracking of any kind.

What we do with it — right now

Right now, we do not share or sell your information with anyone. We are still setting up our partner network. Until a partner is named on our Partners page, submissions are not delivered to any partner, and only short-lived technical logs exist.

What we will do with it — once partners are live

When partners are named on our Partners pageand you submit a request with the consents on our form, we will share — and may sell — your information, including your screening answers, to those named partners (such as law firms and benefits-assistance companies) that pay us to receive it, so they can contact you about your request. That is the only thing your information is used for. We will identify our partners on that page before any of them receives a single request.

Sensitive and health information

Your screening answers can reveal information about your health, injury, or disability. We treat those answers as sensitive, consumer-health data no matter which state you live in: we collect them only with the separate consent checkbox on our form, andwe do not sell consumer health data as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act or Nevada law. The full details are in our separateConsumer Health Data Privacy Policy. We do not sell the sensitive data of New Jersey residents.

How long we keep things

Consent records are kept for at least five years as proof of consent. Technical logs are short-lived. We keep information only as long as these purposes require.

Your choices

  • You can take back your contact consent at any time, in any reasonable way — reply STOP to any text, tell any caller to stop, or use any other reasonable means.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you gave us. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of state.
  • Before we begin accepting and sharing requests, a monitored contact channel will be published on this page for privacy requests. Until then, submissions are not retained, so there is no stored request data to act on.

Children

This site is for adults. It is not directed to children under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. A material change to how we share or sell information applies only to information collected after the change is posted.
